Iva has been with Spotlight for over a year. She loves her work teaching her kiddos to dance, act, sing, and most importantly feel good about themselves! Iva has a diverse history in music including playing lead roles in Into the Woods, Phantom of the Opera, and Once Upon a Mattress. When she was in High School, she won the singing competition “Duxbury Idol.” She loves to sing, dance, and act, and has been involved in theater since she was six years old! She hopes it always remains a part of her life.
Iva is also getting her masters degree in Social Work, hoping to work with vulnerable populations and complex trauma. She spends her free time doing homework, teaching English as a Second Language to adults, and working as an intern, assisting communities who experience homelessness and substance use around Brockton. She is a reiki master, and loves to crochet, and take care of her 30 plants.
