Brad Webb is a drummer and composer born and raised in Lafayette, LA. After studying classical music at The Boston Conservatory of Music, Webb moved to New Orleans and has gone on to perform with some of New Orleans’ most well known musicians like James Singleton, Chris Severin, Tim Green, Larry Siebirth, and Brian Haas. He has toured with Grammy award winning Zydeco artist Terrance Simien, and has been a featured sideman with such artists as harmonica great Howard Levy and pianist Lynne Arriale. Webb has set himself apart not just for his distinctive style and touch on the drums, but as an accomplished composer as well, having produced two full length releases of all original works with his group Brad Webb Making Faces. He can also be heard as a founding member of the acclaimed New Orleans piano trio, Extended, featuring Oscar Rossignoli on piano and Matt Booth on bass, as well as the guitar trio Some Antics with Booth on bass and Nahum Zdybel on guitar. Webb was nominated for Best Drummer in the 2023 OffBeat Awards in New Orleans.
